I dont actually have a pic yet but i'm going to take one. It's the AF logo and its done on my wrist. I have a camera where i have to take it to the shop to get developed so it takes abit longer

It figures - it doesn't seem that long since I posted an introduction on the 'old' forum, and here I am doing it again!
I'm Dave, and I'm from central England in the UK. I haven't been an AF fan for all that long - I actually had no idea that they even existed until someone on another board recommended Epica to me and I started finding out about what the Epica band members had done before! Imagine my surprise when I discovered that (IMO, natch) After Forever were quite a lot better...
I picked up Remagine straight away, fell in love immediately and have now started picking up the back catalogue. Mea Culpa has helped fill in the gaps very nicely!
Aside from AF, I'm a huge music fan and like all kinds of music from all sorts of bands - I'm not just here for the metal. I work as an MIS Admin during the day (steady number, kind of dull but it pays the bills!), and love live music, curries and real ale, roughly in that order. I also write, though not professionally (yet - I'd love to, though). I'm sure anything else remotely interesting will crop up at some point.
I'm also willing to bet I'm one of the oldest people here, though I'm prepared to be proved wrong!

Oh gee, thanks, dude...
I did think I must be one of the oldest here. Surely there's one person here older than me?

Hello i am Henri i have been in AF for 2 years now. The first time i heard them was on Java iland by a concert of WT. Since then i think AF is more my style. More metal.
Back to the question of HippyDave. In the past I have been to concerts from Metallica in Den Bosch ( Pre Black album aera) and i used to be a Murcyfull fate fan. So i am not from this genaration of metal heads.
I will become 41 in 1 month time. Still iam going to gigs of AF. Its really fun. Iam then going with my nice who is 18years. She is a real gothic with the black hair and stuff. Very funny.
She likes Metallica to. Was a nice surprise when i heard that

Hey, Henri! Good to hear from you. I stand corrected - obviously I'm not the oldest here!
Good on you for still going to the shows, actually. Too many people around our age have families etc and forget about the pleasures of live music. Personally, I still intend to be going to gigs when I'm 70!

I've once seen, before a Nightwish gig in Braunschweig, three persons standing in front of me and my friends - A grandma, a mom and a dauther and they were all going to the gig. This was such a nice picture :)

Welcome aboard, Snowdog. Hmmm, wonder where you got that nickname from? (I'm a confirmed Rush fanatic too...)
